The Attack on Freedom

To focus on solely on the police and authorities as the ones attacking our freedoms is to miss the multi-vector mode of this attack. It is coming through mass illegal migration. It is coming from attempts to force integration of peoples that are in conflict with each other and who many are diametrically opposed to Western culture, including freedom of speech and expression. It is also coming from the insidious division between groups into multiple definitions of identity where there is always an oppressor group versus an oppressed group. French Riots Two French fans die as violence erupts across the country after World Cup win over Croatia. Celebrations turned into widespread rioting, looting and ugly clashes with cops who deployed tear gas to try to control the unrest.

In South Korea, more than 700,000 people signed a petition calling on the government to expel about 1,000 Yemenis from the island of Jeju who had arrived unexpectedly and then applied for refugee status.

Political prisoner, Tommy Robinson, remains in prison at HMP Onley after three senior judges, including the top judge for England and Wales, Lord Chief Justice, Sir Ian Burnett, considered his appeal after the draconian arrest and his imprisonment from outside of Leeds Crown Court a few weeks ago. There were many procedural anomalies found in his case including the lack of due process and severity of sentence. The judges were sympathetic to Tommy Robinson’s appeal, but retired to consider it and said they would have a decision by the end of July.

In London, the Metropolitan Police were found to have failed to properly record 100,000 crimes in a year. The report from HM Inspectorate of Constabulary and Fire & Rescue Services (HMICFRS) said this included offences involving domestic abuse and violence. The Met Police release a gif simply explaining what they mean by hate speech. It used to be just common assault, now it’s called hate if it is directed against a particular group identity. Hate is an emotional response and thus a subjective reaction to something or someone. You will need a psychologist to determine that you hate. Are the Met Police or any authorities trying to claim they know what you are thinking?

UN Ambassador Nikki Haley denounces the United Nations Human Rights Council’s failure on human rights

The HRC has become the UN’s greatest failure. [gallery ids="45816,45817,45818" type="columns"] From Nikki Haley’s speech: UN was founded to promote peace and security based on justice, equal rights and the right to self determination, but there are many members whose leaders completely reject that purpose. Dictators and authoritarian regimes have been allowed to control the agenda. Human Rights Council is meant to be a place of conscience, but more often has provided cover and not condemnation for the world’s most inhumane regimes. It has changed from a place of conscience to a place of politics. It has focused on Israel while ignoring the misery inflicted by regimes in China, Zimbabwe, Venezuela and Cuba. The UNHRC has become the UN’s greatest failure. It has taken human dignity and reduced it to an instrument of international politics. HRC’s membership contains some of the worst human rights violators. Cuba, China and Venezuela all have seats on the HRC

 • HRC membership – 62% of its members are not democracies.
 • Agenda Item 7 – devoted exclusively to the existence of Israel. This signifies the moral bankruptcy of the HRC.
 • In October 2017, Congo was elected to a seat on the HRC. Mass graves were being uncovered as they were being approved.
 • From December 2017, the people of Iran protested against the brutal regime and were beaten, arrested and killed. HRC said nothing.
 • Venezuela has continued to descend into dictatorship and brutality. HRC said nothing because Venezuela has a seat on the HRC.
 • The US has failed to get sufficient other countries to stand up, but the authoritarian regimes are happy with the status quo. A seat protects them and their allies from scrutiny. Russia, China, Egypt and Cuba resist any reform.
 • Reform was resisted by NGOs such as Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch.
 • Pro-Human Rights countries decline to speak up in public about the failure of the HRC.
 • The US was the last piece of dignity to the HRC that consistently fails on Human Rights and that is why the US withdrew.

In spite of no longer being part of the UNHRC cabal, the US remains the single most significant contributor to promoting human rights on the planet and, by not giving a dime to the HRC, they do so without half of the overheads.

CHIMES COMMENT: Why have so many people, particularly in the hegemonic elite, lost their minds over Trump? The guy gets lambasted on unsubstantiated claims and complaining about injustices that institutions such as as the UNHRC failure to address real abuses. It is long past the point where you can take a chance with strangers knowing that you actually like Trump. I used to support Amnesty International, but not anymore and not for a long time. They turned me off when they opposed the execution of women but not of men. They took the same stand on circumcision. It exposed their hypocrisy for what it was – a pro-feminist charity.]]>

Four Boys Saved From Thai Cave

Other 8 Must Wait Until Rescue Resumes Monday 9th July

CHIANG RAI, Thailand (Reuters) – Four of 12 Thai schoolboys were rescued from a flooded cave on Sunday in a daring and dangerous operation to save the children and their soccer coach who have been trapped underground for more than two weeks.

The operation to rescue the remaining eight boys – some as young as 11 and weak swimmers – and the coach was called off at nightfall until Monday to give the divers time to replenish oxygen supplies and ensure all preparations were complete.

Thirteen foreign divers and five members of Thailand’s elite navy SEAL unit guided the boys to safety through narrow, submerged passageways that claimed the life of a former Thai navy diver on Friday.

“Today was the best day, the best situation in terms of the weather, the health of the boys, our water management for our rescue effort,” the head of the rescue operation, Narongsak Osottanakorn, told a news conference.

Thai Boys2 “Today we managed to rescue and send back four children to Chiang Rai Prachanukrua Hospital safely.”

The rescuers needed at least 10 hours to prepare for their next operation, involving about 90 divers in total, 50 of them from foreign countries, he said.

A helicopter flew the four boys to the nearby city of Chiang Rai, where they were taken by ambulance to the hospital.

Their ordeal has drawn huge media attention in Thailand and abroad, and getting the boys out safely could be a boost for Thailand’s junta ahead of a general election next year.

“Today is D-Day,” Narongsak had earlier told reporters.

Bursts of heavy monsoon rain soaked the Tham Luang Cave area in northern Chiang Rai province on Sunday and storms were expected in coming weeks, increasing the risks in what has been called a “war with water and time” to save the team.

“If we wait and the rain comes in the next few days we will be tired again from pumping and our readiness would drop. If that’s the case, then we have to reassess the situation,” he said.

“We can only carry on the operation once we are ready and this will be done soon, because the air tank and other systems have to be reinstalled,” he told reporters later.

“…I can’t give you an exact number but it should be more than 10 hours but not exceeding 20 hours. The conditions must be stable like today before we can continue the operation.”

An Australian doctor checked the health of the boys on Saturday night and gave the all-clear for the operation to proceed.

300,000 Americans have Died from Opioid related Overdoses since 2000

Source A new study estimates the opioid crisis has cost Washington state alone $34 billion over four years.

 • Nationwide, the economic cost of the crisis was estimated to be $504 billion in 2015 alone.
 • More than 300,000 Americans have died from opioid-related overdoses since 2000.
 • In 2016, more than 2 million Americans had an addiction to prescription or illicit opioids.
President Trump has called the opioid crisis a national shame and has organized his Administration to fight it; declaring it a national emergency. COMMENT I have to say, how addled the media has become and this is exemplified by this issue. The Trump haters are so consumed by their malice that they cannot bring themselves to support the president’s initiative to end the suffering and needless deaths of hundreds of thousands of people. If any institution needs to die it is the group of self-righteous bigots that make up the mob of delinquent media charlatans. They are so distant from what it means to be a decent human being, that I wonder if they have developed a form of hysterical sociopathy.
